Confitures casolanes

With the Majorcan fruits that we bring from our farm in Costitx (“frare llarg” plums, figs and Barbary figs) or that we buy at the weekly farmers’ market at Inca (oranges from Sóller, apricots from Porreres and cherries from Orient) we make jams and preserves.

Our homemade jams are mainly prepared by mixing fruits of the season, sugar and sometimes a little pectin that is a natural jellifying agent contained in fruits such as apple or quinces.
